Over the years we have discovered a number of Revolutionary War soldiers on both sides of our family who are our ancestors. This is primarily due to the large number of our ancestors who settled in New England, especially the north shore of Massachusetts, in the 1600s as well as New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York. We have put in alot of time researching our findings but we have never submitted our genealogy to the Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution or the Society of the Sons of the American Revolution for membership. So now we feel it is time to make our submittals and share our experience with you. We have done our best to document our findings and through this process will learn what is acceptable sourcing and what is not. We will keep you posted!
